Fully Funded 2022- Maastricht University Holland High Potential Scholarships: (Deadline 1 February 2022)

The Maastricht University High Potential Scholarships, 2022, are now accepting applications. Interested applicants have until February 1, 2022 to apply. The Holland-High Potential Scholarship program at Maastricht University (UM) offers 24 full scholarships worth €29,000. (including tuition fee waiver and a monthly stipend). For highly bright students from outside the European Union (EU) who have been admitted to a Master’s program at UM each academic year.

The Holland High Potential Scholarship is made up of two scholarships: a High Potential Scholarship and a Holland Scholarship.

Target group: International students from a country outside the EU/EEA

Financial Benefits Provided by Holland High Potential Scholarships

  • This year, there are 24 scholarships available.
  •  The scholarship covers living expenses (€12,350 for 13 months; €23,750 for 25 months), health and liability insurance (€700), visa application fees (€192), tuition (€13,800, €16,000, or €16,800, depending on your study program’s tuition), and pre-academic training expenditures.

 The scholarship is for the duration of the Master’s program — 13 months for a one-year master’s program and 25 months for a two-year master’s program.


Eligibility Required for Holland High Potential Scholarships

All candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • You are a citizen of a country that is not a member of the EU/EEA and meet the requirements for getting a visa and a residence permit in the Netherlands.
  • Do not have dual citizenship with an EU/EEA country.
  • Have applied for a full-time Master’s program at Maastricht University for the academic year 2022-2023. (available on the official website in October 2021) You meet the specific admission requirements of the UM Master’s programme to which you have applied.

• In the Netherlands, you have never attended a degree-seeking higher education program, a primary education program, or a secondary education program. Students who have participated in exchange programs in the Netherlands are eligible to apply.

• Are under the age of 35 on September 1, 2022.

Application Details

Furthermore, in order to be considered for the scholarship, you must first enroll in one of the participating Master’s programs (MA). You will obtain a student ID number after submitting your application via Studielink, which you will need to complete and submit the Scholarship Application Form. After that, you must complete the application form, upload the necessary papers, and submit your application online. Furthermore, the deadline for applications is February 1, 2022.
